I currently work freelance on a wide range of projects from computer designs to comic books. Previously, I worked at Hanesbrands as the Graphics Manager for the Marvel Comics license, where I developed artwork that was used on everything from boxers to briefs. Although my hometown is Greensboro, NC I spent 3-years in Troy, Michigan working for K-mart Intl. as an artist on their children's clothing line.

My passion for art, especially comic book art, stems from a family road trip out to California when I was 12-years old. On the way back, we stopped at Yellowstone National Park for the night and to my distress I quickly discovered they had no TV's in the entire building. Luckily, the gift shop had a few comic books. The one that caught my attention was Cyrstar #6 with Nightcrawler on the cover. I have been reading comics ever since.

Skipping ahead to my college years, I was sitting through an extremely boring lecture class and doodling on the side of my paper, when a friend leaned to see what I was doing and said, "You ought to be an artist.". So here I am years later and making a living at it.

Being a self-trained artist, to say the least, has been an adventure. Going to comic book conventions, meeting new and "interesting" people over the years, and getting that magical phone call to do work is just part of the wonderful experience of art.

So the adventure continues....
